We are more than a DJ company, we are an entertainment company. With our personal touch, our professional sound systems and our large music collections, we WILL make your celebration the success it should be.
Our exciting emcees (Master of Ceremonies) will lead your guests in group dances, announce
and introduce special events (grand entrance, candle lighting, Hora, Israeli folk dances, special dances, etc.) and entertain the kids with games and contests while the adults are eating. The
emcee will also coordinate all activities with the other professionals on site (i.e., caterer, photographer, and videographer). This ensures that your reception flows smoothly and all of your memories are caught on film.
We constantly “read the crowd” and adjust our music programming and guest interaction accordingly. All of the music and interaction is kept “family friendly” (i.e., no foul lyrics).
Party favors, lighting, fog, and bubbles are available
if you wish. All of this is done without taking the spotlight away from the “man or woman of the day.”
Our goal is to create and maintain a fun party atmosphere while recognizing that your son or daughter is the true star of the event. If the adults will be partying in a different room than the kids, we can provide a second DJ-Only system to provide music for the adult party.

Being a small company, we can give you the personal one-on-one service you deserve. It all starts with our Bar/Bat Mitzvah Reception Planner. You start filling it out now with things like the names of the people in your candle lighting ceremony and what your special dance songs will be. Two months before the big day, we’ll hold a sit-down planning consultation with you where we will help you complete the reception planner. We will work with you to design your celebration based on your ideas and personal preferences and give you the style of music you wish to have played and the MC involvement you desire. You tell us what you do and don’t want. We will assist you in choosing the perfect music arrangements, selecting the proper traditions or customs and planning the proper flow of events throughout your celebration.
From grand entrance right through to the very last dance, yours will be a party to remember. And
A Sound Explosion will be right there to make it perfect. The entire party will reflect your own style and will be a most memorable occasion, enjoyed by all that attend.
The great advantage of interactive and follow-along dances is that a guest does not need a partner, may have two left feet and can still have fun on the dance floor. Here are some of the follow-along dances
